Job Description
Visa's Corporate IT (CIT) Project Management Office (PMO) is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the strategic planning, coordination, and delivery of technology initiatives supporting Visa's global real estate portfolio. This role serves as the primary liaison between Corporate IT, Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, Workplace Experience, Architecture & Design partners, AV consultants, network engineering teams, and external vendors to ensure technology readiness for office expansions, relocations, renovations, and new site deployments.
The Program Manager will be responsible for proactively aligning technology investments with Visa's real estate strategy, ensuring that workplace technology solutions, including audiovisual systems, conference rooms, collaboration spaces, network infrastructure, wireless connectivity, and digital workplace technologies, are planned and delivered efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. The role requires strong program management, financial acumen, vendor management, stakeholder engagement, and technical planning capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of Corporate IT workstreams supporting office expansions, consolidations, relocations, renovations, and new site builds.
Partner closely with Corporate Real Estate and Workplace teams to understand short-term and long-term real estate strategies and proactively plan technology investments required to support upcoming initiatives.
Serve as the primary program manager for workplace technology infrastructure, including AV systems, conference room technologies, network infrastructure, wireless connectivity, digital signage, and collaboration spaces.
Partner with AV design consultants, architecture firms, and workplace design teams to develop optimal technology solutions for conference rooms, executive briefing centers, training spaces, and collaboration environments.
Ensure technology designs align with Visa standards while delivering high-quality employee and visitor experiences.
Develop and manage integrated program plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, budgets, and deployment strategies.
Work with engineering, operations, workplace technology, network, and vendor teams to ensure successful implementation and operational readiness.
Develop business cases, funding requests, project charters, cost estimates, and executive presentations required for approvals.
Manage program financials and maintain a detailed understanding of all cost components, including equipment, software licensing, support services, engineering resources, construction-related technology costs, vendor labor, installation fees, and ongoing operational expenses.
Drive cost optimization by evaluating technology alternatives, standardization opportunities, lifecycle replacement strategies, and vendor proposals.
Coordinate procurement activities and partner with sourcing and vendor management teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify and mitigate program risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints across multiple projects and stakeholders.
Lead governance reviews and provide regular executive-level reporting on program health, schedules, budgets, and key decisions.
Coordinate technology readiness activities including site surveys, design reviews, implementation planning, testing, cutover readiness, and post-implementation support.
Develop strong partnerships with workplace technology vendors, AV integrators, network providers, construction partners, and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
Support capacity planning and technology forecasting efforts to ensure Corporate IT investments remain aligned with Visa's future workplace needs.
Establish and maintain program metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to measure delivery performance, utilization, and investment effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with Visa project governance, security standards, technology standards, and operational requirements.
Drive continuous improvement across workplace technology deployment processes, standards, and vendor management practices.
Facilitate collaboration and decision-making among business, technology, facilities, and real estate stakeholders globally.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of relevant work experience, OR
Advanced Degree (Master's, MBA, JD, etc.) with 5+ years of relevant work experience, OR
PhD with 2+ years of relevant work experience, OR
11+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience managing large-scale corporate real estate, workplace technology, infrastructure, or construction-related technology programs.
Strong program management experience leading cross-functional initiatives across technology, facilities, workplace experience, and business teams.
Experience partnering with Corporate Real Estate organizations on office buildouts, relocations, renovations, and workplace modernization efforts.
Knowledge of audiovisual technologies including conference room design, collaboration platforms, digital signage, and executive presentation environments.
Experience working with AV consultants, design firms, systems integrators, construction partners, and technology vendors.
Familiarity with enterprise networking, wireless technologies, structured cabling, and workplace infrastructure requirements.
Strong financial management skills with experience building budgets, developing forecasts, evaluating total cost of ownership, and managing capital and operating expenditures.
Demonstrated ability to understand and challenge detailed cost estimates, including equipment, engineering, support, implementation, and installation costs.
Proven success managing multiple concurrent programs involving complex stakeholder groups and competing priorities.
Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Experience with project portfolio management, reporting, and governance processes.
PMP, PgMP, Lean, Agile, or related certifications are a plus.

Information for US Applicants
For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $169,100.00 to $ 270,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
