Skills and Competencies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills, with the ability to work with large, complex datasets and translate them into business insight; advanced Excel required
Experience with planning, reporting, and business intelligence tools (e.g., PowerBI, Salesforce) preferred
Clear and persuasive communicator, able to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders and adapt style across audiences from team members to senior management
Strong commercial acumen and a genuine interest in business drivers, products, customers, and market dynamics, applied to evaluate opportunities and inform decisions
Proven collaborator across Finance and the wider business; comfortable working self-directed and with teams across time zones, while seeking guidance on more complex strategic matters
Strong working knowledge of accounting concepts with a highly motivated, change-agent mentality and flexibility in the face of shifting priorities and deadlines
Ability to think critically to build new processes and frameworks that enable transparency, accountability, and deeper business insights
Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other quantitative fields; other fields with transferable skillsets will be considered
5+ years of relevant experience in Commercial Finance, Finance Strategy, Financial Consulting, Investment Banking, or an equivalent function, including exposure to business performance management, multi-year financial planning, financial strategic decision-making, financial analytics, investment management, and M&A
Professional qualification or post-graduate study preferred (e.g., MBA, CPA/CA); qualified and part-qualified candidates are welcome to apply
