About This Role
Works with Plant personnel and expertise centers to coordinate, prioritize and schedule Plant activities. Ensures that value added and complete service requests are generated. Be a planner for maintenance and turnaround work. Build job packages and order materials.
Understands the plant/department strategy, budget, business objectives, value added criteria and day to day operations. Enables seamless integration between operations and service providers. Typically assigned to a larger plant/facility. Requires advanced skills and expertise in a range of processes, procedures, and systems, and/or specialized technical expertise within an analytical/scientific method or operational process to perform a broad range of complex work assignments. May act as a working team lead, providing subject matter guidance and coordinating work of others.
Responsibilities
Be a planner for maintenance and turnaround work. Build job packages and order materials.
Act as turnaround coordinator during annual shutdowns.
Provides Task List and Operating the Plant Role utilization data and timing into the Operations Dashboard (OPD)for use in determining normal staffing.
Ensures operational tasks are value added, clearly defined, scheduled and completed.
Determines if procedures and plans for new service requests are aligned.
Reviews work status with service providers and work originators.
Coordinates work from functional support organizations to be performed by operations personnel.
Acts as plant liaison to functional support organizations for general activities and sharing of core plant personnel.
Ensures appropriate operational resources are allocated to perform operational tasks and activities.
Utilizes, updates and adjusts the OPD-Task List to schedule plant activities that impact operations.
Works with Turnaround team to ensure start-up and shut-down tasks align with plant operations activities.
Participates in development/monitoring of the maintenance budget and applies status/forecast as an input to manage maintenance work in the facility.
Collects and/or reviews process data for improvement purposes and corrective actions.
Works with plant and maintenance resources to ensure plant specific compliance activities are scheduled and completed to maintain compliance.
Participates in activity coordinator networks to improve effectiveness in role and leveraging of best practices, as available.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required.
5 or more years of experience in an operations/maintenance role within an industrial environment.
Must have current, valid US Driver’s License.
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
Physical Requirements
Must be willing and able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation.

Frequent/occasional lifting of material weighing approximately 50 lbs.
Work in tight or closed-in spaces.
Climb stairs/ladders and work high off the ground.

Walk for extended periods of time.
Work in an area of intense or continuous noise.
Work in an area with hazardous materials.
Work at heights greater than or equal to 4 ft off the ground. Must be able to wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE), including harnesses with a total weight capacity of 300lbs. (This typically accommodates individuals who weigh 285 or less)

Communication: Communicates clearly and professionally through written, verbal, listening, and reading skills, ensuring accurate information flow across all site populations and work groups.
Prioritization: Evaluates situations, determines appropriate actions, and prioritizes competing demands to support operational objectives and business needs.
Troubleshooting: Identifies issues, analyzes root causes, and implements effective solutions to minimize disruptions and maintain workflow continuity.
Initiative: Demonstrates leadership through influence, accountability, and a strong work ethic while working independently and contributing within an empowered team environment.
Time Management: Maintains a strong commitment to safety while effectively managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and ensuring compliance with site procedures and expectations.
