Beckett is looking for a Social Media Manager to own our day-to-day organic social presence and help shape how we educate, inform and engage collectors across the hobby.
This role will lead organic social planning and execution, develop compelling content around Beckett's expertise and the collectibles hobby, and identify timely opportunities for Beckett to engage with collectors, creators and industry conversations.
The ideal candidate combines strong social instincts with content strategy, storytelling and a genuine understanding of collector culture. They should be comfortable moving quickly, identifying opportunities and turning ideas into content collaborating across teams throughout Beckett.
You’ll report to the Marketing Manager and work from our Plano office.
What You'll Do:
Own Beckett's organic social calendar, publishing cadence and day-to-day execution across priority platforms.
Develop social and content plans that support broader brand priorities, campaigns, product and service launches, partnerships and key hobby moments.
Create educational and collector-focused content that brings Beckett's grading, authentication and hobby expertise to life.
Work with internal experts to identify compelling stories, insights and trends that can be translated into engaging content.
Stay closely connected to card releases, hobby trends, creators and conversations across sports cards, TCG and the broader collectibles community to identify timely content opportunities.
Proactively engage with collectors, creators and relevant hobby conversations to build relationships, identify content opportunities and strengthen Beckett's presence in the community.
Travel to priority card shows, industry events and brand activations to capture content, engage with collectors and identify storytelling opportunities.
Own organic social performance reporting and use platform and social-listening insights to understand what's working, identify opportunities and continually improve performance.
Monitor audience sentiment and recurring collector questions, sharing relevant insights and opportunities with the broader Marketing team.
Who You Are:
4+ years of experience in social media, content marketing, digital marketing or a related field.
Willingness to travel up to ~20%
Demonstrated experience managing organic social channels and developing content for a brand or organization.
Strong understanding of major social platforms, short-form video, social trends and platform best practices.
Strong writing, storytelling and editorial judgment.
Ability to identify content opportunities and move quickly from idea to execution.
Comfortable capturing social-first photo and video content when needed and collaborating with Creative on larger content needs.
Experience using social analytics and listening tools to turn performance and audience behavior into actionable recommendations.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Knowledge of or genuine passion for sports cards, TCG and the broader collectibles hobby strongly preferred.
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $69,820-$90,356. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
