Senior Continuous Improvement Analyst - Prefabrication Construction

A DAY IN THE LIFE
Aligns the design, implementation, and stabilization of scalable processes that support prefabrication and modular construction. Partners with Engineering, Integrated Supply Chain, Quality, HSE, Operations, and project teams to convert field and customer needs into repeatable methods. Uses process engineering and continuous improvement practices to improve safety, quality, throughput, schedule reliability, and cost from design release through field installation.
STEP INTO THE ROLE
Aligns Blattner's business goals to be an industry leader by improving and implementing procedures and processes as directed by the Senior Manager, Continuous Improvement.
Leads complex continuous improvement initiatives that support the establishment, piloting, and scaling of prefabrication and modular construction capabilities from opportunity definition through sustained results.
Maps the end-to-end value stream from design and engineering release through procurement, kitting, fabrication, quality verification, staging, transportation, and field installation to identify constraints, rework, delays, and unclear handoffs.
Leads the analysis and improvement of production systems, including shop or yard layouts, work cells, material flow, work-in-process controls, visual management, standard work, staffing models, and capacity plans.
Conducts time studies, work sampling, cycle-time and throughput analysis, takt planning, and line balancing to establish baselines, identify bottlenecks, and improve flow.
Facilitates Design for Manufacturing and Assembly and constructability reviews with Engineering, VDC, production personnel, trade partners, and field teams so designs can be produced, transported, installed, and serviced safely and efficiently.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Bachelor’s degree in industrial, manufacturing or mechanical engineering or similar field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 years of related experience in continuous improvement, process engineering, manufacturing, prefabrication, modular construction, industrial construction, or construction operations.
Experience must include leading data-based process improvements in a production, shop, yard, or field environment.
Must be able to travel 50% on short and variable notice.
WHAT SETS YOU APART

Prefab-yard experience.
Experience with Minitab and/or P6

$83,109.00 - $120,508.00 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
