MailerMen has an opening for a Backend Developer based out of Ahmedabad. You will build reliable APIs, services and database-driven features, working closely with frontend developers and product teams to deliver secure, scalable backend systems. This is an entry-level role suited to recent graduates who are eager to learn and grow with structured mentorship. The position is onsite at our Ahmedabad office, offering close collaboration with the local team.
Department: Engineering - Backend Working hours: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM IST, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
Contribute to API documentation and internal developer guides.
Debug production issues and improve application performance.
Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services.
Write unit and integration tests for backend services.
Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
Design database schemas, queries and data-access logic.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Learn team tools, coding standards and delivery processes with mentor support.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related technical field preferred.
Good to have: TypeScript, GraphQL, Nginx, Docker, NestJS, PostgreSQL
