The Role
We are looking for a Consultant in Internal Medicine & Critical Care to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care, with a key focus on the diagnosis and management of adult medical conditions and critically ill patients.
The role will include:
Comprehensive clinical assessment and management of adult medical patients
Diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of a broad range of medical conditions
Management and stabilisation of emergency and critically ill patients
Ordering and interpretation of diagnostic investigations
Clinical rounds and coordination of multidisciplinary patient care
Supervision of ICU and step-down/high-dependency units
Development and implementation of evidence-based clinical protocols
Ensuring adherence to quality, safety and infection-control standards
Training and mentoring junior doctors, residents and clinical staff
Participation in clinical audits and hospital committees
Qualifications
MBBS with MD/DNB in Internal Medicine or equivalent recognised qualification
Formal training/fellowship in Critical Care Medicine preferred
Strong clinical expertise in Internal Medicine with the ability to manage a broad spectrum of adult medical conditions
Advanced skills in Critical Care and Emergency Medicine
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Experience in training and mentoring junior doctors and clinical staff
Valid medical registration and eligibility to practice in Goa
Preferred: 5+ years of experience
Freshers with the appropriate qualifications and a strong interest in Internal Medicine & Critical Care are also encouraged to apply
