Senior Cybersecurity Engineers

American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Senior Cybersecurity Engineers to design, develop, test, and debug software applications and systems to meet information security, cybersecurity, and functional requirements.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible software design, development, testing, and implementation experience. Experience must also include 2 years of experience with each of the following: defining and designing technical specifications; working in cloud platforms; building data encryption solutions using PKI, Symmetric/Asymmetric cryptography, Tokenization, and Certificate; web API programming in Java, Python and JavaScript; and Agile development, AngularJs, Ansible, code review, data structures, distributed systems, Docker, Dynatrace, Git, HashiCorp Vault, Hibernate, Java, JBoss, Jenkins, JSON, Kubernetes, Microservices, React, Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, REST APIs, RHEL, ServiceMesh, Shell scripting, Spring and XL Release. Telecommuting is available up to 2 days per week.
Job Location: Phoenix, AZ
Build software using consistent development practices, including documentation and collaboration with peers and leaders. Adhere to security and regulatory best practices to ensure compliance throughout the software development lifecycle. Conduct code reviews and automated testing to ensure high-quality, secure code standards. Support and monitor software across development, integration, and production environments to maintain performance and reliability. Draft and maintain technical documentation and report on assessments, findings, and remediation efforts to improve the organization’s security posture.
