Senior Java Engineer

We are seeking a Java Engineer (6-10 years' experience) in Bangalore/Gurgaon to drive modernisation of enterprise financial platforms. You will lead cloud migration (AWS), integrate AI, and develop high-performance backend systems focusing on cleared derivatives, risk management, and margin optimisation.
Responsibilities:
Backend Development: Build high-performance, low-latency services using Java 8/11/17+ and Spring Boot.
Cloud Migration: Execute on-premises to AWS cloud migration initiatives.
Derivatives Focus: Implement complex business logic for cleared derivatives, covering trade matching and regulatory reporting.
AI Integration: Implement AI pipelines for automated financial data processing.
Architecture: Utilise AWS services (Lambda, ECS, S3 RDS, and Kafka).
Requirements:
Experience: 6 to 10 Years
Java and Spring: Advanced Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate.
AWS: Strong experience in AWS cloud infrastructure and security.
Databases: Expert-level SQL (Oracle/PostgreSQL).
DevOps: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and migration patterns.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Domain expertise in cleared derivatives (futures and options, clearing houses).
Experience designing scalable microservices.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with generative AI or agent builders.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
