Java Technical Lead

About Position:
We are seeking an experienced Java Technical Lead with 10 to 15 years of expertise in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-scale applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and modern cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, drive architecture decisions, mentor development teams, and ensure successful delivery of highly scalable, resilient, and distributed software solutions. This role requires strong hands-on development experience combined with technical leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

What You'll Do:
Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications using Java and modern application frameworks.
Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions within project timelines and effort estimates.
Provide task estimations and contribute to project planning activities.
Design and implement Microservices-based architectures and distributed systems.
Build event-driven applications using Kafka and messaging platforms.
Develop RESTful APIs and integration services for enterprise applications.
Write, execute, and maintain unit tests and integration test cases to ensure software quality.
Perform code reviews and enforce development standards and best practices.
Provide accurate status updates and proactively identify delivery risks.
Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, and cross-functional teams.
Drive technical discussions and recommend innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and intellectual property guidelines.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities.
Lead and mentor development teams to achieve technical excellence and delivery success.
Support CI/CD implementation and DevOps best practices across projects.
Drive application modernization and cloud adoption initiatives where appropriate.
Expertise You'll Bring:
10 to 15 years of experience in software development and enterprise application delivery.
Strong hands-on experience in Core Java and modern Java versions including Java 11, Java 17, and Java 21.
Deep expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Framework modules including MVC, IOC, AOP, and Spring Security.
Proven experience designing and implementing Microservices Architecture solutions.
Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Zookeeper.
Expertise in Event-Driven Architecture and distributed systems design.
Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and web services using JSON and SOAP.
Strong experience with Hibernate, JPA, and ORM frameworks.
Experience with SQL and relational databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL.
Experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
Expertise in software design patterns and SOLID principles.
Hands-on experience with Maven, Gradle, Ant, and Git.
Experience working with JUnit, TDD, and automated testing frameworks.
Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
Exposure to AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures.
Knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure automation practices.
Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven experience leading development teams and managing end-to-end technical deliveries.
Ability to provide architectural guidance, technical leadership, and mentoring to engineering teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
