Your Role:
Serve as the supervisor for compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act
Maintain and manage certifications including ISO 9001/14000/50001 and OSHAS 18001
Continuously improve, maintain, and manage production capacity related to TiCl4/TEOS/RGA processes to achieve business goals, and lead productivity enhancement projects when necessary
Identify cost-saving ideas and implement related projects (e.g., JDI, Blue Belt, Green Belt, Lean & Six Sigma projects) to reduce plant spending managed under KPIs
Conduct Basic Safety Process (BSP) activities, including Level 2 BSP initiatives
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for incidents related to TiCl4/TEOS/RGA processes at the Siheung site, and document near-miss events in the cr360 incident tracking system
Develop and revise operating procedures for the Thin Film plant at the Siheung site
Manage procedural and process changes, including submitting Management of Change (MOC) documentation
Prepare and process cCAPEX packages required for capital asset registration and purchasing approvals
Register and manage Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks and oversee their execution within the PM program
Provide troubleshooting support for process issues by investigating root causes and establishing corrective actions to prevent recurrence; lead projects to improve current processes and communicate with the Global team as needed
Investigate causes of customer complaints, implement preventive measures, support quality improvement activities, and assist in test plan development to meet customer requirements
Support the QA team for PCN documentation preparation and customer audits, including pre-inspection checklists, revision of forms, control plans, and procedures
Assist the Process Safety team in maintaining process safety through activities such as Operating Plant Hazard Review (OPHR), Design Hazard Review (DHR), Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP), and execute related recommendations; conduct Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) or Operational Readiness Inspection (ORI) prior to plant startup
Monitor plant spending for TiCl4/TEOS/RGA processes at the Siheung site and control actual expenditure within budget limits
Provide on-site operational support for IT ticket issuance requiring English proficiency
Manage designated waste with EH&S at the Siheung plant, develop and register new waste suppliers, and renew waste contracts with vendors
Support procurement of operational materials such as valves, gaskets, fittings, and consumables
Conduct monthly inventory closing and discrepancy improvement activities for raw materials and consumables
Assist QA and sales teams in responding to customer surveys on operational materials (e.g., container surveys, filter surveys, PM activities, equipment surveys)
Support correction of vendor invoice errors for items purchased by the Operations team
Register new vendors and update vendor information for purchasing purposes
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
Possession of relevant certificates related to gases or hazardous materials is an advantage
Proficient in English with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to markup P&ID (Process and Instrumentation Diagrams)
Excellent MS Office skills; MOS certification preferred
Solid knowledge of basic safety and engineering standards
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
