Senior ERP Advisory Consultant – Manufacturing / Automotive (Contract)

Location: Remote, with travel to three US manufacturing facilities (travel expenses covered)
Engagement: Can be part-time or full-time
Eligibility: US or Canadian citizen, or permanent resident. Must be able to travel to US sites
About the role
We're looking for a seasoned ERP professional to support an ERP advisory engagement for a US discrete manufacturer. You'll join our consulting partner's team for site visits, executive interviews and customer workshops. You'll document current-state business processes and help shape recommendations for the client's leadership.
Required
20+ years of ERP experience covering several full lifecycles (selection, implementation, optimization)
Deep knowledge of discrete manufacturing business processes
Proven experience gathering requirements with customers and advising on business processes
Comfortable in front of executives, with strong listening and note-taking skills
Able to work under a partner's brand and follow the engagement lead
Strongly preferred
Hands-on Glovia (Fujitsu GLOVIA G2) experience
Automotive industry experience, at an OEM or a supplier of any size
Automotive EDI experience (ASN, 830/862, supplier portals etc)
ERP project management experience
Responsibilities
Take part in onsite discovery visits at three manufacturing facilities
Support interviews with executives and the board, and capture structured notes on processes, pain points and requirements
Attend customer meetings and workshops as a subject-matter expert
Contribute to requirements documents and business process findings
