Personal Care Assistant (PCA) – School-Based
Position Overview
Liberty Education Solutions is seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support students in school-based settings with the Liberty Education Solutions.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive difference in a student's educational experience. The PCA will provide individualized support to help students remain safe, engaged, and successful throughout the school day.
Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one support to assigned students throughout the school day.
Assist students with academic, behavioral, social, and personal needs as appropriate.
Help students safely participate in classroom activities and daily routines.
Follow individualized student plans and directions provided by teachers and related-service professionals.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff.
Encourage positive behavior, independence, and student engagement.
Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Communicate professionally with school staff and parents/guardians when appropriate.
Follow all school, MCIU, and Liberty Education Solutions policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Previous experience working with children is preferred.
Experience in a school, childcare, special education, behavioral health, or caregiving environment is a plus.
Patient, compassionate, dependable, and professional.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow student support plans and staff instructions.
Flexible and able to adapt to individual student needs.
Must meet applicable school health, background clearance, and employment requirements.
