Spray Technician
Shearon Environmental – Princeton, NJ OR Voorhees, NJ area.
Position Overview
The Spray Technician will provide application services across commercial properties, residential sites, golf courses, and athletic fields. This position is responsible for applying pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers while maintaining high standards for safety, accuracy, and turf and plant health.
Responsibilities
Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers
Monitor sites and recommend appropriate treatments
Identify pest, weed, turf, and plant health concerns
Calibrate and safely operate spraying/application equipment
Perform routine safety inspections on equipment
Read, understand, and stay current with safety data sheets
Follow company safety procedures and applicable regulations
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of turf programs and treatment practices
Ability to operate turf equipment
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must live within approximately one hour of Princeton, NJ or Voorhees, NJ.
Current state licensing and pesticide applicator certification preferred; candidates without certification must be able to obtain it immediately
Ability to comply with Shearon Environmental's safety program
