Electrical Engineer

Role Description This part-time remote Electrical Engineer role at VAS Consultora - Soluciones en Gestión del Talento focuses on designing, analyzing, and optimizing electrical systems for clients across various industries. The Electrical Engineer will develop electrical layouts and specifications, support power distribution and power systems projects, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations. Daily tasks include reviewing technical documentation, performing calculations and simulations, preparing reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and reliable solutions. The role also involves providing technical guidance, participating in project meetings, and supporting continuous improvement of engineering processes and best practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with a solid understanding of core electrical principles and applications.
Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design, including the ability to create detailed schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.
Candidates should possess skills in Power Distribution, with experience in designing and evaluating distribution networks and related equipment.
Candidates should possess skills in Power Systems, including analysis, modeling, and optimization of system performance and reliability.
Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
Proficiency with industry-standard engineering and simulation software tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Experience in consulting, project coordination, or working with multidisciplinary teams is beneficial.
