Role Description The Junior 2D Draughtsman (AutoCAD) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The role involves preparing precise 2D architectural and construction drawings in AutoCAD, including floor plans, elevations, and detailed layouts for luxury residential and commercial interiors. The draughtsperson will support senior designers with space planning, translating design concepts into technical drawings and ensuring alignment with project specifications and standards. Daily responsibilities include updating and revising drawings based on feedback, coordinating with design and project teams, maintaining organized drawing files, and adhering to timelines and quality requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings.
Candidates should possess solid Drawing skills and proficiency in 2D AutoCAD drafting.
Candidates should possess capabilities in Space Planning and layout optimization for interior projects.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with designers, project managers, and vendors.
Relevant diploma or degree in architecture, interior design, or a related technical field is beneficial.
Attention to detail, accuracy in drafting, and ability to follow design guidelines and building standards are important.
Basic understanding of materials, finishes, and interior detailing is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines is required.
