Interior Design 2D Draughtsman

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Design 2D Draughtsman role based in Bengaluru. The Interior Design 2D Draughtsman will prepare detailed 2D drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections based on design concepts provided by the design team. Responsibilities include translating design briefs into precise technical drawings, updating and revising plans as per client and consultant feedback, and ensuring all drawings comply with project standards and measurements. The role involves close coordination with interior designers and project managers, maintaining organized drawing files, and supporting documentation for presentations, approvals, and execution on site.
Qualifications
Proficiency in 2D drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD) and familiarity with other relevant design tools.
Strong technical drawing skills, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed joinery drawings.
Understanding of interior design principles, materials, finishes, and basic construction practices.
Attention to detail, accuracy in measurements, and ability to interpret and translate design concepts into technical documents.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with designers, project managers, and site teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain organized drawing and documentation records.
Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience as a 2D draughtsperson in interior design or architecture, preferably in luxury or high-end projects.
