Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Accountant at CloudGate LLC. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, expense tracking, and bank reconciliations. The role includes preparing financial statements and management reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. The Accountant will collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights, maintain accurate records for audits, and help improve financial processes and controls. The role also involves using accounting and ERP systems to maintain data integrity and support timely financial decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in accounting principles, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and cash flow management.
Proficiency with accounting software and ERP tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, other cloud-based financial systems).
Ability to support budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial performance tracking.
Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit preparation processes.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage.
Experience working in technology, consulting, or cloud services organizations is beneficial.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a distributed team setting.
