Role Description The Facade AutoCAD professional will be responsible for preparing, updating, and managing detailed facade drawings and construction documentation using AutoCAD, aligned with project specifications and architectural requirements. Day-to-day tasks include developing facade layouts, sections, and details; coordinating with architects, engineers, and site teams; and ensuring drawings comply with structural, safety, and quality standards. The role involves interpreting architectural and construction drawings, optimizing space utilization for facade systems, and supporting the project team with timely revisions and issue resolution. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Thane, requiring close collaboration with design and execution teams to ensure accurate implementation of facade solutions.
Qualifications
Ability to work with Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings, including interpretation and preparation of detailed facade documentation.
Strong Drawing skills and experience in Space Planning related to facade layouts and building elevations.
Effective Communication skills for coordinating with architects, engineers, site supervisors, and vendors.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and related design software; knowledge of facade materials such as glass, ACP, and structural glazing systems.
Understanding of building codes, safety standards, and basic structural principles relevant to facade design.
Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field; prior experience in facade or building envelope projects is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and willingness to collaborate in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
