Role Summary
The Senior Databricks & Snowflake Admin will oversee the administration and governance of the enterprise data platform. They will ensure operational excellence while managing Databricks and Snowflake environments.
Key Responsibilities
Administer Databricks workspaces across development, test, and production environments.
Manage Snowflake accounts, warehouses, databases, and security policies.
Implement security controls and compliance requirements for data governance.
Partner with engineering teams to establish platform standards and best practices.
Lead migration and cleanup initiatives to modernize Databricks governance.
Own enterprise access governance for Databricks and Snowflake.
Monitor platform health, performance, and costs.
Develop operational runbooks and support procedures.
Must-Have Qualifications
5+ years of Databricks administration experience.
5+ years of Snowflake administration experience.
Strong expertise with Unity Catalog governance and security.
Strong Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code experience.
Deep understanding of RBAC and IAM.
Nice to Have
Databricks Certified Data Engineer or Platform certifications.
Snowflake SnowPro Administrator certification.
Experience with GitOps deployment models.
