Senior US IT Recruiter

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced US IT Recruiter with 3–5 years of experience in US staffing and technical recruitment. The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, qualifying, and presenting IT professionals for various US-based client requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the US IT staffing market, recruitment lifecycle, employment types, work authorizations, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
Understand and analyze technical job requirements received from clients and account managers.
Source qualified candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, internal databases, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
Conduct initial screening to evaluate candidates' technical skills, experience, location, availability, compensation, and work authorization.
Present qualified candidates to clients or internal recruiting/account teams within required timelines.
Maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and upcoming requirements.
Communicate effectively with candidates throughout the recruitment process and provide timely updates.
Coordinate candidate submissions, interviews, feedback, onboarding, and other recruitment activities.
Negotiate compensation/rates with candidates based on client requirements and approved budgets.
Verify candidate information, employment history, work authorization, and other relevant details before submission.
Maintain accurate candidate and submission records in ATS/recruitment systems.
Follow client-specific submission guidelines, SLAs, and recruitment processes.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with candidates and recruiting partners.
Meet daily and monthly sourcing, submission, interview, and placement targets.
Stay updated on US IT hiring trends, technologies, job markets, and recruitment practices.
Qualifications
Preferred QualificationsExperience working with US staffing firms, implementation partners, MSP/VMS clients, or direct clients.
Experience recruiting for state/local government, healthcare, financial services, or other enterprise clients is a plus.
Familiarity with ATS/CRM systems and recruitment reporting.
Experience handling multiple client requirements simultaneously.
Required Skills
3–5 years of experience in US IT Recruitment / US Staffing.
Strong experience recruiting for technical roles such as Software Developers, Cloud/Azure/AWS, Data, DevOps, QA, Business Analysts, Architects, Cybersecurity, and Infrastructure.
Good understanding of US employment types such as Contract, Contract-to-Hire, and Full-Time.
Knowledge of US work authorization categories such as US Citizen, Green Card, H-1B, EAD, OPT, CPT, etc.
Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, or similar sourcing platforms.
Strong candidate sourcing and Boolean search skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Strong negotiation, follow-up, and candidate relationship management skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple requirements and work within strict submission timelines.
Preferred Skills
Experience working with US staffing firms, implementation partners, MSP/VMS clients, or direct clients.
