We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer for a key project in the energy sector on behalf of our client!
Key Details:
Start Date: October 26, 2026
End Date: October 30, 2027
Allocation: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Working Language: English
The Role & Project Scope: In this role, you will cover the further development of Wide-Area Monitoring Applications (including Advanced Monitoring, Load Frequency Control, and Power Quality). You will analyze and adapt open-source modules, as well as design and build new modules from scratch.
Must-Have Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience developing IT solutions in alignment with client IT strategy and standards.
Hands-on Python application development experience using FastAPI, Kafka, and Helm Charts.
Solid Java application development experience with Spring Boot, JDK 21+, and Maven.
Proven experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Nice-to-Have Skills (Should-Have):
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Argo CD, Protobuf, Pydantic, and Grafana.
Background in electrical engineering.
Experience working with transmission system operators (TSOs) or comparable energy infrastructure companies.
Knowledge of SCADA, PMU, PQ, protection, or fault record data.
Proven experience in critical infrastructure environments.
Strong technical documentation skills.
