Why We Have This Role:
We are looking for a process engineering intern to support engineering changes, product development and new product launches. The company offers a well-established 11-week summer internship program where students contribute to meaningful projects. The company emphasizes a culture of mentorship, training, and collaboration, encouraging interns to ask questions, challenge ideas, and think creatively. Interns gain valuable hands-on experience in a thriving industry with strong opportunities for growth and development.
Things You Will Do:
Review engineering changes to HVAC product designs, utilizing knowledge of mechanical engineering principles
Develop and manage project schedules related to existing product launches or design modifications
Process product design requests by reviewing bills of materials, drawings, and engineering change requests
Develop engineering solutions to product related issues through problem solving and root cause analysis techniques
Production engineering support in a high volume manufacturing environment. Able to identify the root cause of issues and implement permanent solutions
Participate on cross functional teams to launch products, resolve issues, and support product improvements
Assist production with product launches and issue resolution utilizing product knowledge and issuing pilot run reports
Requirements:
Must not require sponsorship now or in the future
Graduation Dates: December 2027 - May 2029
Be at least 18 years of age
