Business Intelligence Analyst

Role Description This part-time remote Business Intelligence Analyst role at CAREER PRO 1 focuses on turning data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. The analyst will gather, validate, and interpret data from various sources, build and maintain dashboards and reports, and develop data models that enable efficient analysis. Day-to-day responsibilities include working with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translating those needs into BI solutions, and monitoring key performance indicators. The role also involves documenting analytical findings, presenting results in a clear and accessible manner, and continuously improving existing BI tools and processes.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in data modeling to design, optimize, and maintain data structures that support reporting and analysis.
Experience building and maintaining dashboards using modern visualization platforms.
Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools and technologies for reporting, querying, and data visualization.
Business analysis capabilities to gather requirements, map processes, and align BI solutions with organizational goals.
Familiarity with SQL and basic data querying; experience with data warehouses or data lakes is advantageous.
Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders, both in writing and presentations.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote, part-time environment.
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Business, Economics, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in BI or data analysis roles is preferred; exposure to industry-standard BI platforms is beneficial.
