SAP Consultant

Role Description This part-time remote SAP Consultant role at CAREER PRO 1 focuses on advising clients on the effective use of SAP solutions to support business operations. The consultant will analyze existing business processes, gather requirements, and design SAP configurations that align with organizational goals. Daily activities include configuring and testing SAP modules, managing master data setup and maintenance, and ensuring robust integration between SAP and related systems. The role involves preparing documentation, supporting end-users, troubleshooting system issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement improvements. The consultant will also participate in client meetings, provide expertise on best practices, and help drive continuous optimization of SAP-supported workflows.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret business requirements, identify gaps, and propose effective SAP-based solutions.
Consulting experience with SAP environments, including stakeholder communication, requirements gathering, and solution presentation.
Solid understanding of business processes and workflows, ideally in multiple functional areas (e.g., finance, logistics, or supply chain).
Hands-on experience managing and maintaining SAP master data, including data quality, governance, and standardization.
Knowledge of SAP integration concepts, interfaces, and data flows between SAP and other enterprise systems.
Relevant academic background in information technology, business, or a related field; professional SAP certifications are a plus.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time workloads, and meet agreed timelines.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with project-based work, including documentation, testing, and support during go-live and post-implementation phases.
