Experience: 7–10 yrs
Role summary:
Owns requirements and domain translation for a procurement/ERP platform serving electrical contractors, EPCs, and construction-sector buyers — (Procore, BuildSupply, Autodesk, Takeoff-type platforms). Bridges real-world procurement workflows (Drawing, Bid Managments, BOQ, RFQ/ITB, vendor management, PO/invoicing) with product and engineering teams.
Key responsibilities:
Gather and document requirements from procurement, contracts, and site/project teams in electrical and construction-sector businesses
Define and maintain BOQ structures, RFQ/tender formats, vendor-qualification criteria, and PO/invoice workflows within the ERP
Translate domain workflows into clear functional specs, user stories, and process flows for the development team
Run UAT cycles with end users (procurement managers, site engineers, finance) and manage requirement sign-off
Maintain traceability between business requirements and delivered features
Support configuration/implementation of ERP procurement modules (vendor master, PR/PO, contracts, inventory interfaces)
Must-have:
Prior experience with procurement/ERP systems in an electrical or construction-sector context
Working knowledge of electrical/construction materials and terminology (transformer, inverter, switchgear, cabling, panels, civil/MEP BOQ items)
Experience writing functional specs / user stories for a development team (not just internal process documentation)
Strong stakeholder management — comfortable running requirement workshops with both technical and non-technical users

Exposure to competitor/market platforms in this space (Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BuildSupply, or similar)
Familiarity with CAD/BIM-adjacent document types (drawings, single-line diagrams) as inputs to BOQ
