Role Description The Executive Advisor role at Jaca is a part-time, remote position focused on providing strategic guidance and high-level counsel to the leadership team. In this role, the advisor will review business plans, product roadmaps, and market strategies, offering insight on positioning Jaca as a leader in healthy sweeteners. The Executive Advisor will participate in scheduled strategy sessions, advise on partnerships and investor relations, and help refine messaging around Jaca’s mission and brand. Typical responsibilities include evaluating growth opportunities, advising on risk management, mentoring senior leaders, and supporting key decision-making processes. The role is designed for a seasoned professional who can contribute flexible, high-impact expertise while collaborating virtually with Jaca’s team.
Qualifications
Strategic leadership and executive advisory experience, including guiding startups or growth-stage companies in food, health, or consumer products.
Background in business strategy, market analysis, or corporate development, with the ability to assess opportunities and risks in emerging markets.
Experience in brand positioning, go-to-market planning, or mission-driven storytelling, especially for consumer-facing health or sustainability brands.
Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills to influence senior stakeholders and support cross-functional collaboration.
Familiarity with nutrition, CPG (consumer packaged goods), or regulatory considerations in food and beverage is highly beneficial.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage a part-time advisory schedule, and provide timely, actionable feedback.
Track record of ethical decision-making and alignment with Jaca’s mission to promote healthier choices and consumer well-being.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Food Science, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage but not required.
