Role Description This is a full-time, on-site 3D Generalist role based in Hyderabad. The 3D Generalist will create and refine 3D assets for a variety of projects, including cinematic sequences, product visuals, and architectural content, primarily using Blender. Day-to-day responsibilities include modeling, rigging, texturing, lighting, and animating assets, as well as collaborating with directors, designers, and other artists to achieve cohesive visual narratives. The role involves optimizing scenes for performance and quality, preparing assets for rendering, and iterating based on feedback from internal teams and clients. The 3D Generalist will also maintain organized project files, stay aligned with studio workflows, and contribute creative ideas to elevate visual storytelling.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Blender and experience handling end-to-end 3D asset creation within the software.
Solid rigging skills, including creating and adjusting rigs for characters, props, and mechanical objects.
Demonstrated ability in lighting and texturing to achieve photorealistic or stylized looks as required by the project.
Experience in animation, including keyframe animation, camera movement, and timing for cinematic storytelling.
Understanding of rendering workflows, composition, and basic post-production integration.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and respond constructively to feedback.
Strong portfolio showcasing 3D work across different styles and project types.
Relevant education in animation, digital arts, game design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with additional tools (e.g., Substance Painter, Photoshop, After Effects, or similar) is an advantage.
Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.
