Visual Designer

Namma Yatri is a Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform built to empower drivers and provide seamless, frictionless ride experiences for users. We’re not just another ride-hailing app, we’re reimagining urban mobility from the ground up, with drivers at the center and intuitive design as our backbone.
We are looking for a Graphic Designer/Illustrator with a strong grasp of current digital creation tools, visual trends, and an inherent flair for storytelling. You’ll design visuals that have a high impact from product/character illustrations and UI storytelling to marketing creatives and brand expressions.
You’ll collaborate closely with a dynamic cross-functional team including Product Managers, Business Development , UI/UX Designers, Developers as well as folks from Content Marketing, Performance Marketing, Social Media, and Events. Your work will span product launches, campaigns, internal initiatives and user education helping bring ideas to life through compelling visuals.
Roles and responsibilities:
● Turn Complex Ideas into Visuals: Understand how our brand works and create simple, easy-to-understand graphics like infographics, app banners, posters, app illustrations - while meeting deadlines and keeping the quality high.
● Design Icons and Illustrations: Create original icon sets and illustrations from start to finish. Come up with ideas, sketch different options, and make sure all visuals match the app or brand’s look and feel while exploring various styles.
● Design for the Right Audience: Learn deeply about the product and the people using it. Make visuals that grab attention, explain the message clearly and feel relevant to the audience.
● Use the Right Tools and Techniques: Work with the best-suited design tools and methods for the job. Stay updated on design trends and suggest better ways to work when needed.
What we are looking for:
● Experience in creating high-fidelity illustrations.
● Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma (vector-based tools). Knowledge of Adobe After Effects is a plus.
● Ability to leverage AI tools (such as Chat GPT, Google Gemini, Higgsfield, or Adobe Firefly) to streamline workflows, rapidly prototype concepts, and accelerate the creation of high-quality visual assets.
● Comfortable using other Adobe Creative Cloud tools. Familiarity with Procreate is valuable.
● Strong background in digital design. Print design experience is a plus.
● A solid portfolio showcasing creativity and storytelling through illustrations, sketches, infographics and graphic design.
● Creative mindset, takes ownership and has great communication and presentation skills.
