Compensation Specialist

Role Description The Compensation Specialist role at RK CONSTRUCTION is a part-time, remote position focused on supporting fair and competitive pay practices across the organization. Responsibilities include analyzing current compensation structures, conducting job evaluations, and assisting in the design and maintenance of compensation plans aligned with company policies and industry benchmarks. The specialist will prepare compensation reports, provide data-driven recommendations to management, and ensure consistency with regulatory and internal guidelines. This role also involves collaborating with HR and project leadership to address compensation-related queries, support budgeting, and help maintain transparent, equitable pay frameworks.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Compensation Planning and Compensation Management.
Candidates should possess skills in Job Evaluation and Compensation Structures.
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for data interpretation and decision-making.
Experience in HR, finance, or compensation-focused roles, preferably within construction or infrastructure sectors.
Proficiency in spreadsheet tools and compensation-related software; ability to work with large data sets.
Strong attention to detail, integrity in handling confidential information, and clear written and verbal communication.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time hours effectively, and meet deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
