Senior System Analyst

Role Description The Senior System Analyst will work in a part-time, remote capacity to evaluate and optimize the company’s information systems that support construction and tender management operations. Day-to-day tasks include conducting system and business process analysis, documenting requirements, and designing improvements to workflows and IT solutions. The role involves collaborating with project managers, finance teams, and technical staff to translate operational needs into system specifications and enhancements. The Senior System Analyst will also support troubleshooting of system issues, recommend technology upgrades, and help ensure data integrity and system performance. This position requires independent work, clear communication, and proactive identification of opportunities to streamline and strengthen IT-supported processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Systems Analysis and Business Analysis skills for evaluating requirements and designing effective solutions.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting data, identifying trends, and supporting decision-making.
Candidates should possess solid Information Technology knowledge to understand system architectures, integrations, and basic infrastructure concepts.
Candidates should possess Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose issues, propose fixes, and coordinate resolution with relevant stakeholders.
Relevant experience as a System Analyst or similar role, ideally within construction, infrastructure, or project-based industries.
Ability to work remotely, manage part-time schedules effectively, and collaborate across distributed teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing documentation, reports, and presentations.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
Familiarity with ERP systems, project management tools, or tender management platforms is beneficial.
