About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Vice President of Product Management to lead product strategy, portfolio development, product execution, and lifecycle management across the organization.
This executive will be responsible for translating market opportunities, customer needs, and business objectives into a clear product strategy and scalable product portfolio. The VP will work closely with executive leadership and teams across Technology, Engineering, Operations, Revenue, Risk, Compliance, and Client Services to ensure product priorities support long-term business growth.
The ideal candidate will bring 20+ years of professional experience, including 15+ years of management and leadership experience, with a strong record of leading product organizations, developing complex products, and driving product strategy from concept through execution.
What You’ll Do
Product Strategy & Portfolio Management
Define and execute the company’s product strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
Establish product priorities, roadmaps, investment plans, and portfolio objectives.
Identify market opportunities and translate customer needs into product initiatives.
Evaluate product performance and continuously optimize the portfolio.
Product Development & Execution
Lead the product lifecycle from discovery and requirements through launch and ongoing optimization.
Establish effective product-development processes, governance, and decision-making frameworks.
Partner with Technology and Engineering to ensure timely and scalable product delivery.
Establish clear product objectives, milestones, and performance metrics.
Customer & Market Insights
Develop a deep understanding of institutional and professional customer requirements.
Monitor market trends, competitive developments, and emerging technologies.
Translate customer and market intelligence into actionable product opportunities.
Maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Align Product, Technology, Engineering, Operations, Revenue, Risk, and Compliance around product priorities.
Resolve cross-functional dependencies and establish clear ownership across product initiatives.
Ensure product decisions balance customer value, commercial objectives, operational requirements, and risk considerations.
Communicate product strategy and priorities clearly across the organization.
Product Growth & Commercialization
Partner with Revenue, Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams on product positioning and commercialization.
Identify opportunities for product expansion, new markets, and additional customer use cases.
Evaluate pricing, packaging, and product economics where applicable.
Monitor product adoption, customer engagement, revenue contribution, and overall performance.
Product Organization Leadership
Build and lead a high-performing product management organization.
Establish organizational structure, responsibilities, objectives, and performance standards.
Recruit, develop, and retain senior product management talent.
Develop leadership capabilities and succession planning within the product organization.
Product Governance & Performance
Establish product governance frameworks and consistent decision-making standards.
Develop dashboards and metrics covering product adoption, customer value, delivery performance, and commercial results.
Evaluate product investments and resource allocation based on strategic priorities.
Continuously improve product processes, systems, and operating models.
Qualifications
20+ years of professional experience, including 15+ years of management and leadership experience.
Significant executive-level experience leading product management organizations.
Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies across complex products and markets.
Strong experience managing product portfolios, roadmaps, and end-to-end product lifecycles.
Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs and market intelligence into successful products.
Strong understanding of product development, commercialization, customer experience, and product economics.
Experience leading cross-functional teams across Product, Technology, Engineering, Operations, and Commercial functions.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, decision-making, and organizational leadership capabilities.
Excellent executive communication, stakeholder-management, and presentation skills.
Experience in financial services, fintech, enterprise technology, institutional markets, or related industries preferred.
Experience with trading platforms, derivatives, financial infrastructure, asset services, or institutional products is a plus.
MBA or advanced degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or a related discipline is a plus.

Compensation Range
Base Salary: To be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and overall compensation structure.
Additional compensation may include performance-based annual incentives, executive bonus opportunities, and/or equity-based compensation, depending on the overall compensation structure.
