Vice President Finance

Role Description The Vice President Finance is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the organization’s overall financial strategy, stewardship, and performance. This role oversees financial planning and budgeting processes, manages financial reporting cycles, and ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial statements. The Vice President Finance collaborates with executive leadership on long-term financial strategy, capital allocation, and risk management, providing data-driven insights to support decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring cash flow, managing forecasting models, overseeing compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and guiding the finance team in operational excellence. The role also involves developing and refining financial policies, improving systems and processes, and partnering with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and sustainable growth.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Finance, Financial Planning, and Financial Reporting, with the ability to design and manage robust budgeting and forecasting processes.
Strong knowledge of Financial Statements and related accounting principles, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial documentation.
Advanced Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret complex data, present clear recommendations, and support strategic decisions.
Proven experience leading finance teams and functions, with strong people leadership, mentoring, and collaboration capabilities.
Proficiency with financial systems, ERP platforms, and spreadsheet tools; experience implementing or optimizing financial technology is an advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Track record of managing financial risk, governance, and regulatory compliance in a corporate or high-growth environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPA, CMA) is preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across time zones.
