As we expand our engineering team, we’re looking for a detail-oriented SQA Engineer to join us on a flexible, part-time remote contract.
🧪 The Role
We’re seeking an SQA Engineer with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance.
You’ll work closely with developers, cloud engineers, and senior technical teams to ensure our applications are reliable, secure, scalable, and production-ready.
🔧 What You’ll Do
Manual & Functional Testing
Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
Identify, document, and track software defects
API & Backend Testing
Test REST APIs and backend services
Validate API responses, authentication, data integrity, and error handling
Use tools such as Postman or similar API testing platforms
Automation Testing
Develop and maintain automated test cases where applicable
Work with frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar
Identify opportunities to improve test automation and coverage
Quality & Release Validation
Perform regression testing before releases
Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve defects
Support UAT, staging, and production validation
CI/CD & Agile
Integrate testing into CI/CD workflows
Work with Git-based development workflows
Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions
🎯 What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of professional SQA / Software Testing experience
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
Hands-on experience with functional, regression, integration, and API testing
Ability to create clear and comprehensive test cases and bug reports
Familiarity with Postman, Jira, or similar tools
Basic understanding of SQL/database testing
Familiarity with Git and CI/CD concepts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independent
Experience with:
🤖 Selenium / Playwright / Cypress
🔌 REST API & automation testing
🗄️ SQL & database validation
🐳 Docker & containerized environments
☁️ AWS / Azure cloud environments
🔄 CI/CD automation
🔐 Security or performance testing
