About the Opportunity:
The MEDICAL RECRUITER role is focused on identifying, attracting, and securing qualified Emergency Medicine physicians and Advanced Provider candidates for the organization. This position plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s capacity to deliver healthcare by ensuring that staffing needs are met effectively. The recruiter contributes to retaining talent and enhancing recruitment processes, impacting the organization’s ability to maintain quality care across its locations.
Responsibilities:
Generate and develop candidate leads through various sources including advertisements, cold calls, referrals, and residency programs.
Initiate and maintain timely contact with prospective candidates, documenting all actions.
Conduct preliminary phone screenings and provide detailed information about open positions.
Coordinate interviews and follow up with candidates post-interview.
Discuss hiring processes during contracting phases.
Perform verbal reference checks and facilitate written reference collection.
Maintain and update candidate records using Taleo database.
Develop relationships with medical and regional directors and advanced providers.
Conduct follow-up calls with new hires at 30, 60, and 90 days to support retention.
Maintain up-to-date practice profiles including site information and pay details.
Recruit for designated incentive sites.
Provide recruitment consulting to sites.
Attend meetings and maintain relationships with residency programs.
Prepare for and attend relevant conferences.
Collaborate with various departments to share market intelligence and best practices.
Prepare and process offer letters and hiring documents.
Communicate updates to credentialing and provider enrollment teams.
Monitor application statuses and maintain regular contact with applicants.
Stay informed on organizational policies and communicate as necessary.
Requirements:
2 to 3 years of recent recruiting experience.
Preferably experience in a recruitment agency setting.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills including negotiation and team building.
Customer service orientation and ability to work under pressure.
Good judgment and conflict resolution skills.
Proficient with MS Office, internet sourcing, and database management; experience with Taleo preferred.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
