We’re Hiring | Retention Specialist
At StaffingAbroad, we are looking for a Retention Specialist to join one of our clients and help strengthen client relationships, improve retention, and provide effective solutions to customers considering leaving the service.
What you’ll do:
• Handle inbound and proactive calls with clients who may be at risk of leaving.
• Identify the root cause of client dissatisfaction and provide appropriate solutions.
• Manage conversations related to service issues, fees, and account transfer requests.
• Document client interactions, retention attempts, and outcomes in the CRM.
• Work toward monthly retention and save-rate goals.
• Escalate high-risk or high-value cases when necessary.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify recurring issues and improve the customer experience.
• Support the development of scripts and strategies to improve retention results.
What we’re looking for:
• Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of experience in customer retention, collections, sales, customer service, or another client-facing role.
• Financial services experience is a plus.
• Strong active listening, negotiation, and de-escalation skills.
• Experience working toward quotas, KPIs, or retention targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and following established processes.
• Knowledge of retirement accounts, IRAs, cryptocurrency, or digital assets is a plus.
Conditions
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Work Model: 100% Remote Contract: Indefinite-term employment contract
Salary: Negotiable
