QC Operations Lead

Role Overview
Team Leads play a central role in driving project execution, supporting team members, and establishing and maintaining a high bar for quality. This is a hands-on leadership position: Team Leads guide the broader team while maintaining their own audit responsibilities, meeting daily goals, and contributing directly to the project’s day-to-day quality delivery.
Project Ownership & Expertise
Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors on assigned projects.
Act as the subject matter expert on project guidelines, calibration specifications, and workflow expectations.
Maintain a strong understanding of project requirements and proactively address gaps, questions, and areas of confusion.
Assess the project’s audit requirements to determine whether standardized quality criteria can be applied or whether subject-matter expertise is required.
Evaluate project needs and priorities through a quality-focused lens, providing input on audit standards and process improvements.
Progress Tracking & Reporting
Track daily audit progress and ensure updates are accurately reflected in the Project Tracker.
Monitor team performance against daily goals and flag delivery risks early.
Review team allocation requirements while balancing staffing needs across multiple projects.
Stakeholder Partnership
Build strong partnerships with Project Leadership (SPLs) and Quality Project Managers (QPMs)to maintain consistent communication, support shared alignment goals, provide status updates, resolve questions, and escalate issues as needed.
Collaborate with project and delivery teams to balance quality depth, audit scope, and turnaround time positioning the auditing process as a core deliverable for project success.
Cross-Project Awareness
Develop and maintain working knowledge across multiple team projects.
Provide coverage and support across projects as needed based on team priorities.
Team Leadership & Culture
Model clear, professional, and constructive communication.
Foster accountability, collaboration, and problem-solving across the team.
Monitor team alignment with project requirements through regular review and timely, effective feedback.
Set and maintain a high standard for quality, consistency, and responsiveness.
Actively participate in Team Lead meetings and support fellow Team Leads when additional help is needed.
Preferred Experience: 2 to 5+ years in any of the following or equitable experience: quality assurance, data operations, technical project management, and team leadership.
Preferred Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills, familiarity with data tools (Google Sheets, Google Workspace, Excel, SQL), and basic fluency in LLM concepts or prompt evaluation.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to give constructive feedback and write clear standard work and audit spec documentation
