Role Description The Senior SEO Manager – D2C & AI Search Ayurveda & Wellness is a full-time remote role responsible for driving organic growth across direct-to-consumer digital channels and AI-powered search experiences. This role involves conducting comprehensive SEO audits, developing and executing SEO strategies for Ayurvedic and wellness products, and optimizing website architecture, content, and technical performance. The individual will perform in-depth keyword research for category pages, product listings, and educational content, while collaborating closely with content, performance marketing, and product teams to align SEO with broader growth objectives. Day-to-day activities include managing link-building initiatives, monitoring search performance using web analytics tools, and continuously improving conversion funnels for D2C platforms. The role also requires staying updated on AI search trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure sustainable, data-driven organic visibility in domestic and international markets.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in SEO Audits to diagnose technical, on-page, and off-page issues and recommend actionable improvements.
Proficiency in Keyword Research for D2C, category, and product pages, including long-tail, intent-based, and AI search-optimized keywords.
Experience in Link Building strategies, including outreach, digital PR, and ethical authority-building practices.
Hands-on skills in Web Analytics, using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms to track performance and guide decisions.
Solid Marketing understanding, including D2C growth levers, conversion optimization, and integration of SEO with content and performance marketing.
Experience managing SEO for e-commerce or D2C brands; wellness, healthcare, or Ayurveda domain experience is an advantage.
Comfort working with cross-functional teams (content, tech, product, and brand) in a remote, collaborative environment.
