Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Android Developer role based in Janakpuri. The Android Developer will design, build, and maintain high-performance, user-friendly mobile applications that bring Criclive.in’s live commentary, news, and fan community features to Android devices. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new app features, optimizing UI/UX for different screen sizes, integrating APIs for live data, and ensuring app stability and performance. The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and content teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, as well as diagnosing and fixing bugs and performance issues. The Android Developer will also participate in code reviews, follow best practices in software development, and contribute to continuous improvement of the mobile experience for cricket fans.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Mobile Application Development and experience working with Mobile Applications on Android.
Proficiency in Android Development and Android Design, including modern UI components and responsive layouts.
Solid Software Development skills, with knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean code practices.
Experience with Kotlin and/or Java, Android SDK, and common libraries (e.g., Retrofit, Room, Jetpack components).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating backend services into mobile apps.
Ability to test, debug, and optimize apps for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Good collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team on-site.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Interest in cricket and sports media is a plus, with motivation to build engaging fan-focused experiences.
