We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our engineering team in Kolhapur.
What You'll Do
Analyze software requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test plans.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure application quality.
Identify, document, track, and verify software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
Validate REST APIs, database operations, and application workflows to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
Conduct cross-browser, compatibility, and performance testing where required.
Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, release validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain detailed test documentation, execution reports, and defect logs.
Explore test automation tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
What We're Looking For
2+ years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and defect management.
Hands-on experience with manual testing, test case design, and test execution.
Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
Good understanding of SQL queries and database validation.
Experience with bug-tracking tools, Git, and agile development methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is a plus.
Familiarity with enterprise applications, web technologies, or SaaS environments is an added advantage.
