Role Description The Social Media Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing content across social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency and audience growth. Day-to-day activities include developing social media calendars, coordinating with internal teams for campaign ideas, writing and reviewing posts, and optimizing content for engagement and reach. The Social Media Manager will monitor performance metrics, analyze results, and adjust strategies to improve outcomes, while staying updated on platform changes and industry trends. The role also involves managing community interactions, responding to comments and messages, and supporting broader marketing initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills to plan, manage, and grow brand presence across platforms.
Candidates should possess effective Communication and Writing skills to create clear, engaging, and brand-aligned social content and responses.
Candidates should possess Content Strategy skills to develop campaigns, plan calendars, and align posts with marketing and business goals.
Candidates should have familiarity with social media analytics tools, basic knowledge of digital marketing principles, and an understanding of current platform trends.
Candidates should have the ability to work on-site in Chennai, collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field, and prior experience in a social media or digital marketing role are preferred.
