NURSING STAFF
Job Purpose
To provide quality nursing care and first-response medical support to students, faculty, staff and campus residents.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care, basic assessment and first aid to patients visiting the Health Centre.
Assist the RMO/Medical Officer in consultation, treatment and emergency management.
Administer medicines, injections, dressings and other procedures as prescribed.
Monitor and record vital signs and patient condition and escalate concerns promptly.
Attend to campus medical emergencies and coordinate ambulance/referral services when required.
Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes and medical documentation.
Maintain and monitor medicines, emergency supplies and medical equipment.
Ensure proper hygiene, infection-control and safety practices within the Health Centre.
Support health check-ups, vaccination drives, health awareness and wellness programmes.
Maintain patient confidentiality, professional ethics and compassionate patient care.
Qualification & Experience
GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) from a recognised institution.
Valid registration with the State Nursing Council / INC as applicable.
Prior hospital/clinic/institutional nursing experience preferred.
BLS certification desirable.

Working Requirement: Shift/on-call duties as per roster. Campus accommodation is mandatory.
