This remote contract opportunity involves creating realistic coding challenges, implementing solutions and building automated checks to evaluate AI-generated code. No previous AI experience is required.
Location: Remote
Commitment: Approximately 15 hours per week
Schedule: Flexible, choose your hours and days, including weekends

Advertised pay range: $30–$100 USD/hour. Compensation is output-based, paid per task that meets project specifications, rather than a guaranteed hourly rate. Completion times vary, and minimum weekly task submissions apply.
What you’ll do
• Create challenging coding tasks involving feature implementation and bug fixes.
• Build deterministic verifiers that accept valid solutions and reject incorrect ones.
• Apply your experience in debugging, refactoring and performance optimisation to realistic software problems.
• Use sound testing practices to make evaluations reliable and repeatable.
• Communicate technical decisions and reasoning clearly.
What we’re looking for
• Strong backend development experience in one or more languages such as Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python or C++.
• A track record of building scalable services and APIs.
• Confidence debugging complex issues, identifying bottlenecks and improving performance.
• Experience implementing features and refactoring large codebases.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures and core computer science concepts.
• Good code review judgment and clear technical communication.
A strong testing background is particularly valuable, including designing test strategies, maintaining large test suites and diagnosing flaky tests.
