Role Description: The role involves conducting counseling sessions, organizing information sessions and workshops, and maintaining accurate records of student interactions and application progress. The counselor will support students through the entire admission process, including application documentation, deadlines, and scholarship or financial aid opportunities, while coordinating with partner institutions as needed. The role also includes staying updated on education trends, entrance requirements, and study-abroad options to ensure students receive current and relevant advice.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Educational Consulting and Education, with the ability to understand academic pathways and institutional requirements.
Experience in Student Counseling, providing empathetic, student-centered guidance and support.
Proficiency in Career Counseling, helping learners align education choices with long-term career objectives.
Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in counseling are an advantage.
Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and institutional representatives, and to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Knowledge of national and international education systems, admission procedures, and scholarship opportunities is highly beneficial.
Comfort with basic office software and digital tools for maintaining records, preparing reports, and conducting presentations.
