About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at Beyond Sports. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets related to athletic performance, training regimes, and sports outcomes. Your insights will directly influence product development, strategic decision-making, and client solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, a passion for sports, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Sports Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within the sports technology or related industry.
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Excel.
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
Strong communication skills to effectively present findings to diverse audiences.
Knowledge of sports performance metrics, biomechanics, and sports science is highly desirable.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to athlete performance, training sessions, and game outcomes.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for clients and internal teams.
Collaborate with product development teams to identify data-driven features and enhancements.
Interpret data trends and provide actionable insights to coaches, athletes, and management.
Design experiments and conduct statistical analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and technological interventions.
Assist in the development of predictive models to forecast athlete performance and injury risks.
Ensure data integrity and security in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in sports analytics and data science to continuously improve analytical capabilities.
