About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

Finance Manager
Experience: 3–4 years
Location: New Delhi
Industry: Travel / Hospitality / Consumer Services
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Manager to manage Boketto’s day-to-day finance operations and build robust processes around payments, vendors, cash flow and financial controls.
The ideal candidate should have experience working in a structured corporate environment and understand how finance operations work at a growing company with multiple vendors, transactions and ongoing business operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the complete vendor payment cycle — invoice verification, approvals, scheduling and payment execution.
• Maintain a clear payment calendar and ensure payments are made on time.
• Coordinate with vendors, internal teams and management regarding invoices, outstanding payments and reconciliations.
• Build and implement standardised finance processes and controls to reduce errors and financial leakage.
• Track accounts payable, receivables, advances and outstanding balances.
• Reconcile bank transactions and ensure all incoming and outgoing payments are properly recorded and accounted for.
• Maintain accurate records of vendor invoices, contracts, payment terms and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with the accounts team / CA for GST, TDS, taxation and statutory compliance.
• Prepare regular cash-flow and payment reports for management.
• Identify gaps in existing financial processes and implement systems to improve efficiency and transparency.
• Ensure proper approval mechanisms are followed before any payment is released.
• Support monthly closing, MIS and basic financial reporting.
What We’re Looking For
• 3–4 years of experience in finance/accounts, preferably in a corporate or fast-growing company.
• Strong understanding of corporate payment processes and vendor management.
• Experience managing multiple vendors and high transaction volumes.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, reconciliations, cash flow and payment cycles.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong follow-through.
• Comfortable building processes and taking ownership rather than just executing instructions.
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with accounting software / ERP systems is preferred
• Experience in travel, hospitality, D2C, retail or another transaction-heavy business is a plus.
What This Role Is About
This role is not just about maintaining accounts. You will be responsible for creating a finance function where every rupee coming in and going out is tracked, verified and controlled.
