About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cloud Solutions Specialist to join our dynamic team at IBM. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering innovative cloud-based solutions that meet our clients’ evolving needs. You will work closely with clients, technical teams, and stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure and services. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cloud computing, with proven experience in deploying and managing cloud solutions. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required; advanced certifications such as IBM Cloud certifications, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud are highly desirable. Candidates should have a solid understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models, along with familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a customer-centric approach are essential. Prior experience working with enterprise clients and knowledge of security protocols, network architecture, and compliance standards will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
As a Cloud Solutions Specialist, your core responsibilities will include:
Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions tailored to client requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive cloud strategies and migration plans.
Providing technical guidance and support during the deployment and integration of cloud services.
Monitoring cloud environments for performance, security, and compliance, and implementing improvements as needed.
Conducting training sessions and workshops to educate clients and internal teams on cloud best practices and new features.
Staying updated on the latest cloud technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to advise clients effectively.
Participating in pre-sales activities, including technical presentations and solution demonstrations, to support business growth.
