About The Role
We are seeking an experienced IOS Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and optimizing mobile app designs through comprehensive review, evaluation tools, and analysis to ensure optimal user experiences across phones and tablets. You will play a vital role in building native mobile applications, supporting production systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and efficient iOS solutions. Qualifications
7+ years of native iOS development experience
Deep expertise in Swift and Swift UI programming languages
Proficiency with Apple iOS frameworks and SDKs
Experience with Combine framework and reactive programming architecture
Strong knowledge of REST API integration and networking protocols
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and debugging
Proven ability to perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
Experience with building native features as modular components
Understanding of SOLID design principles and best practices in software architecture
Familiarity with accessibility features such as VoiceOver and Dynamic Type
Experience with TDD, BDD, and iterative development methodologies
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
Enterprise development experience is highly desirable
Responsibilities
Assess and optimize mobile app designs through review, evaluation tools, and analysis to ensure optimal user experiences for phones and tablets
Create and execute comprehensive unit tests covering a broad spectrum of mobile devices
Build robust native iOS applications, support existing mobile systems in production, and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently
Prepare detailed documentation for new development initiatives while adhering to Schwab development standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects and stakeholders, to craft appropriate technical solutions
Implement and maintain modular native features, ensuring scalability and reusability
Debug memory leaks, performance bottlenecks, and other technical issues to optimize app performance
Integrate applications seamlessly with REST APIs and other backend services
Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship to junior developers, and promote best coding practices
Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment cycles
Implement native accessibility features to enhance app usability for all users
Engage in iterative development cycles, utilizing TDD and BDD methodologies to improve code quality
