Pixel Games Studio is the game development branch of Boundless Gamers, a nonprofit charity rooted in the gaming community. Our mission is to create games that entertain while raising awareness of mental health and highlighting the positive impact gaming can have on people's lives. What began as a podcast has grown into a broader effort to make a difference, including our flagship project, It's a Conspiracy — a video game currently in active development.

Position Overview
This is a volunteer, remote role for an Information Technology Administrator who will provide technical support, manage network and system administration activities, and troubleshoot IT-related issues across the organization. Day-to-day work centers on keeping our IT infrastructure running smoothly, supporting the development team, and maintaining secure, efficient systems for a distributed team of volunteers and interns.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for staff, volunteers, and interns across the organization.
• Manage network administration activities, including LAN/WAN configuration and network architecture design.
• Administer and maintain Google Workspace, including user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain VPN technologies to support secure remote access.
• Oversee asset management and maintain version control systems for IT and development resources.
• Monitor systems for security risks and help safeguard organizational data and infrastructure.
• Document IT processes, configurations, and procedures for consistency and continuity.
• Support onboarding and offboarding of team members' accounts, access, and equipment.
• Collaborate with the development team and other departments to resolve technical needs as they arise.
Qualifications
Required
• Skills in technical support and troubleshooting.
• Experience in network administration.
• Proficiency in system administration.
• Solid understanding of information technology principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment.
• Proficiency in asset management and version control systems.
• Experience with LAN/WAN and network architecture design.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace administration and user management.
• Experience configuring and maintaining VPN technologies.
Preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
