QA/QC Manager

About the Role
We're seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to build and lead quality systems across our data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects. This is a strategic role—you'll establish quality standards, implement inspection protocols, and drive compliance across multiple concurrent projects ranging from $50M to $200M+.
You'll report directly to senior project leadership and manage a team of quality inspectors and technicians. Your work directly impacts project reputation, client satisfaction, and profitability.
What You'll Do
Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC plans aligned with project specifications, codes, and client requirements
Lead a team of 3–8 quality inspectors and technicians across multiple active projects
Conduct field inspections, testing, and documentation for structural, mechanical, electrical, and systems work
Review submittals, shop drawings, and material certifications for compliance
Manage deficiency tracking, corrective actions, and punch-list closeout
Coordinate with project management, trade partners, and design teams to resolve quality issues in real time
Maintain detailed QA/QC records, reports, and metrics for leadership review
Champion continuous improvement in inspection processes and quality culture
Ensure compliance with building codes, industry standards, and contractual requirements
What We're Looking For
5+ years of QA/QC experience in commercial construction, data center, or industrial projects
Proven track record managing quality on large, complex projects ($50M+)
Hands-on expertise with data center systems (cooling, power, infrastructure), mechanical/electrical systems, and critical facility construction
Strong knowledge of building codes (IBC, NFPA, NEC) and industry standards (ANSI, ASHRAE, Uptime Institute)
Leadership experience managing QA/QC teams in fast-paced environments
Proficiency with QA/QC software and documentation systems
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
CMAA, ASQ, or DBIA certification a plus
Current driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
